Last week my son and I went for a guided night walk in Costa Rica near Manuel Antonio. We came across this very cool looking large nocturnal Orbweaver spider (Eriophora fuliginea). Well, at least I thought it was cool and beautiful. :-) My wife didn't even want to go on the night walk because of the creepy-crawlies.

I have used a flash and combined handful of photos to get greater depth of field, handheld.
