Congratulations to Ahnasti Tate and Jamyla Lewis! 🎉
These outstanding graduating seniors were recognized during the Brighton High School Awards Ceremony over the weekend.
Jamyla received the Monroe One Educational Foundation Scholarship, and Ahnasti was awarded the Urban-Suburban Scholarship.

The 2026 Urban-Suburban Recognition Night was a wonderful evening celebrating the accomplishments of our students and the support of their families.
Congratulations to the students who received Academic Excellence, Academic Achievement, and Core 4 awards. We also recognized our Special Service Award recipients for their contributions to the Urban-Suburban Program.

Members of the Urban-Suburban STEM team took part in the Powder Mills Park Trout Derby this weekend!
STEM Coach Kelvin Knight said they were out there bright and early at 7 a.m. and had some solid catches. 🎣
Want to join them? There’s another chance this weekend. Meet up at the fishing pond at Cobbs Hill Park on Sunday, April 26 from 2–5 p.m. Bring your own bait and fishing gear.
