Today we mourn the loss of a former President of our Association. He brought us to new levels through his passion for helping others. Brian was a legend, he will live forever in our hearts. Rest in peace!

Today, the Fall River Police Department mourns the loss of a member of our family.

On September 27, 2024, Retired Detective Brian Cordeiro, passed away unexpectedly at Rhode Island Hospital.

Det. Cordeiro retired on April 30, 2023, after serving the Fall River Police Department for 25 years. Since that time, he has served as a Special Police Officer.

Detective Cordeiro is remembered for his infectious personality, enthusiasm and selflessness.

We extend our deepest condolences to Detective Cordeiro’s friends and family.
