March 2 is "Read Across America Day' and the birthday of Dr. Seuss! Today is a great time to read and engage with children to develop their love of reading.
Dr. Seuss: "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go!"

One of the holiday traditions at People Incorporated is the “Giving Tree.” Each year employees, our board, and community members would go to a tree set up at one of our sites and take an ornament that matched a child in our programs and then purchase a gift to be distributed to the families. This year, we cannot host the Giving Tree in the usual manner due to the pandemic, so we plan to support these deserving children through a virtual version of the Giving Tree. Will you help a child this year?
The Giving Tree allows us to reach those who need us most, especially during a uniquely difficult year. Thank you!

The first week in May signals warming temperatures and the approaching height of spring. It is also Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week.
