QUARANTINE RADISHES! Planted at the beginning of quarantine and ready to eat now.
These are mild and delicious. I eat them alone as a snack or slice thin on toast. Or lightly sautéed with butter, salt and pepper. So GOOD! The greens are great in green smoothies or lightly sautéed with the roots.

Have you guys heard of cherry or strawberry guava? I had never heard of this variety of guava till moving to Fallbrook. This is the guava for people who don't like the musky tropical flavor of most guava. Its mild and sweet and the perfect size for snacking. The fruits are the size of cherries and you can just pop them in your mouth, no peeling or deseeding. They come in red known as cherry or strawberry guava and yellow known as lemon guava. Our little tree, it's less than 3 ft tall is literally so covered with fruit the branches are close to breaking! Its prolific and delicious and I've never seen the fruit available to buy in stores. It is a beautiful evergreen small tree that can be pruned into a "fedge" (food hedge) as likes to say. It's beautiful as a landscaping tree with lovely fruit you can eat. My Sunday sermon on the glories of Cherry Guava!
