When trying to control highly aroused energy in your dog, words can often work against you, only adding more fuel to the fire of excitement. Sit, down, No, STOP are all not going to mean much unless there's action (follow through) behind them.
If you dont want your dog to jump up on you, set the boundary using a physical restraint (like stepping on the leash) EVERY time your dog goes to practice this behavior.
Yes, this means you have to be AWARE and be ready to offer your dog guidance in instances when they're going to jump.
This way your dog cant continue to practice the behavior and you dont have to be je**ed around on the leash and/or jumped all over by your dog.
Simple, easy, and available to anyone with a leash and a foot. 😉
