Look at this gorgeous lady. She's my hatched Madagascar moon moth or comet moth. She lives only 5-7 days once hatched but when she passes, she'll be always remembered and immortalized - creating even more sustainable ethical sourcing of these beautifully gentle fairytale creatures.

Some folks ask if she's shaking? Nah, she vibrates her wings to warm up her flying muscles before take off. She's just getting ready to fly!

The characters often used to distinguish the s*x of Asian Giant Scorpions are the size of pectine and the number of pectinal tooth of which males always have larger pectine and more number of pectinal tooth than females (Sissom, 1990; Gaffin and Brownell, 2001; Ozkan et al., 2006). Pectoral teeth are the fuzzy carmel colored extensions under the last hind legs on the abdomen.
