On February 23, 1945, the U.S. Marines raised the U.S. Flag at Iwo Jima. Watch as retired Marine Corps cinematographer, Maj. Norman Hatch, one of the Marines who documented the flag-raising atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima, describes capturing the iconic moment.
