Happy November! When is too soon to decorate for Christmas?

We went hiking at Sky Meadows State Park over the weekend for the first time, and it certainly won't be the last! We hiked up to the Piedmont Overlook, and all we can say is that the sweeping views truly said "Virginia."

Located in Delaplane, Virginia, the park covers nearly 2,000 acres with 22 miles of hiking trails, 9 miles of biking trails and access to the Appalachian Trail.

Sky Meadows is also designated as an International Dark Sky Park and holds monthly astronomy programs ⭐️

The perfect Saturday is spent with a beer flight and live music at Barrel Oak Winery and Brewery

Have you tried Audacious Aleworks or Songbird Asian Cafe & Bar? We tried both for the perfect weekend dinner in Fairfax, VA! Grabbed a drink first and walked over to Songbird for incredible cocktails and plates we all shared as a group.

Last weekend's dinner at Three Blacksmiths in Sperryville, Virginia was nothing short of extraordinary. It felt like enjoying fine dining in the comfort of a friend's warm, intimate home.

I tried something a little different and got their zero proof mocktail pairing...let's just say I will be getting more NA pairings from now on!

And I'll be dreaming about that green curry soup throughout these chillier months...
