My youngest is following in his older brother’s footsteps. Earlier this year my oldest won a kids healthy cooking competition. Today when we were walking my youngest asked if he could cook stir fry tonight (stir fry is what his brother won the competition with). He was inspired by the ingredients…or maybe he just wanted us to let him pick some things of his own. I couldn’t say no!!

Here’s his finished product a yellow curry rendition of stir fry. Chicken, carrot, green pepper, snap pea, onion, coconut milk (no guar), coconut aminos (a non-soy, non-wheat, soy sauce alternative), of course a touch of siracha, yellow curry powder, ginger, coconut oil, and a touch of butter (can’t butter be in every recipe? Lol)

It’s amazing how excited kids get about eating healthy when they get involved with the cooking, shopping, and growing.
