With all of our snowfall and blowing snow, check your vent exhaust pipes. With the strong winds, snow can drift and cover the vents. Not only can this affect your furnace operation, it can cause dangerous carbon monoxide to back up into your home. Better to be safe, check your exhaust pipes and remove snow from around them! Most (newer) homes will have the pipes coming out of the side of the home.
