May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re honoring retired Moorhead Police Officer Bradley “Brad” Schenck, who bravely fought a malignant brain tumor and passed away in November 2025.

To honor Brad’s fight, our squad cars are proudly displaying gray Brain Cancer Awareness ribbons throughout the month. You’ll see these ribbons on our vehicles as a visible reminder of Brad’s strength, his service to Moorhead, and the many families impacted by brain cancer.

We are also sharing an online fundraiser opportunity. Purchase a shirt, and $5 from every item sold will be donated to the local Pray for Gray chapter, supporting brain tumor awareness, research, and assistance for families in our region.

The day after Jason Moszer was shot, 2 young female officers (still shaking) came in the store to talk to me about doing patches for the Fargo Police Officers to wear on their vests in remembrance of their fallen police officer. They said they would like to order 200 to give to the officers and family of Jason. I decided to order 500 patches and donate them to thank them for putting their life on the line everyday so we can feel safe.
