Time off/Shift:

Drivers will leave out on Sunday/Monday depending on route
Drivers will return to distribution center on Friday/Saturday for a 34 hour reset
Position Details:

Running area NC, SC, GA, VA, MD, DE, WV, OH, PA often...occasionally NJ
Consistent regional routes to similar customers
53' van trailer making retail deliveries of newly manufactured mattresses and box springs.
Mattresses will be tailgated by the driver to the tail of the trailer or on to dock area.
Drivers will have some assistance by customer, but will be supplied a dolly to help unload and maneuver mattresses.
Multi-load stop loads
Trailers will be pre-loaded by the shipper for pick-up.

Drivers need to live within 50 miles of Shippensburg PA. Drivers are paid on a lane pay and are home daily with either every other weekend off or one set day off per week. Drivers stay within 250 miles of the DC. Drivers average $1200 per week with a average of 1600 / 1700 mpw. Driver will haul freight all over the northeast region.(may do NYC 10% of the time) This is a 24/7 operation so there will be various start times. 3 months exp required.Slip Seat account..Driver may be asked to assist in some unloading using a pallet jack. They will be paid $40 more if they have to do so. This may only happen 20% of the time.Drivers must have their own transportation to and from the terminal.
