A few pages from inside our partner, Josh Siebert’s, sketchbook.

Before the drawings, models, meetings, and construction, most ideas start here.

Sketching is a way to think through ideas before they become spaces, structures, and experiences. A small look into the process that often happens quietly behind the scenes.

AIA26 in San Diego was full of inspiration and learning.

Our team spent the days moving between conference sessions, keynote talks, building tours, expo floor discoveries, and so many meaningful conversations about architecture and design.

From big ideas shaping the future of practice, sustainability, and technology to the details found walking some of San Diego’s most inspiring projects.

In between, we explored the city together as a team and reflected on what we’re bringing back into our work. We also had the opportunity to celebrate Kiara Gilmore’s Ten Year Anniversary with tacos, bowling, and karaoke!

Grateful for the experience and excited to carry the ideas forward in the studio!

A closer look at the details that make up the Osage Park Pavilion in Bentonville.

Serving as the gateway and centerpiece of Osage Park, the pavilion draws inspiration from aircraft wing design, a nod to its location at the northern edge of the Bentonville Municipal Airport. Natural light and Arkansas-sourced cypress bring warmth and character to the structure, while its playful form rises from the landscape to create a gathering place for community events, a shaded stop along the wetlands, and a front-row seat to watch planes take off and land.

What started as an overlooked pasture is now a 55-acre park and preserved wetland used as a gathering place for the community.
