Progress Pushers

White Centers gun lock box giveaway event yesterday was a success. In collaboration with Regional Gun Violence Prevention, we fed the community, educated and passed out necessary information and resources, and gave away 100 lock boxes!

We also provided safe passages at a funeral of a young man who lost his life due to gun violence (RIP CASH) before supporting and providing resources at the annual "Peace N The hood" event alongside other amazing organizations and companies in White Center.

If you missed us or simply want to support and come vibe with us don't worry because THIS FRIDAY we will be hosting 2 more lock box giveaway events in both Burien [at the Town square] as well as in Federal Way at our Progress Pushers location (additional details are in the flyers below)! We look forward to seeing y'all there!

It's ALWAYS a great day to push nothing less than PROGRESS...

We're preparing to take over 30 Black and Brown Federal Way Public Schools students to our state's Capitol on June 12th. This is the FIRST time that many Black and Brown students from Federal Way, led by the community, will be entering the capital!

Students will be touring the capital to be informed about policy, how issues within communities relate to policies, and how we, as a community, can be part of change!

We want to thank FWPS for their continued partnership, support and advocacy!

*This field trip is invite only and we've already exceeded the amount of youth and adults who can accompany us on this very necessary, important and impactful trip*
