Today in Austin, Secretary Carson and FHA Commissioner Brian Montgomery announced a historic milestone for our Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD) – converting and preserving 100,000 units of affordable housing. Under RAD, public housing authorities across the country are able to access private funds through public-private partnerships to ensure housing remains affordable for low-income families.
