Birth breaks you down to your core. You’re raw, vulnerable, and exposed on the deepest level. Things don’t always go as planned. Someone told me you birth with WHO and HOW you need to even if you don’t understand it because frankly I’m still trying to understand it. It wasn’t how I pictured it. It wasn’t how I prepared for it to go. AND, it was still beautiful and healing!
One thing that I do know is that my birth team was filled with empowered, strong, and wise women. I was surrounded and supported by them. I learned to trust on a deep level. They mothered me as I became a mother. That’s something I will always carry with me 🫶🏼
