Whatcom Seven Firefighters

The magnificent seven! This class is special not only because the number of recruits is tied for the most in department history, but also because there are two second-generation District 7 firefighters among them. Now that’s something to celebrate! The seven of them combined already have 38 years of diverse fire service experience, including structural, wildland and industrial, and will now embark on a rigorous two-month day academy before joining their respective shifts.
