The 2025 edition of the Citizens Leadership Academy starts soon!

The City is currently accepting applications from Fernley residents who are interested in attending. If you have a passion for local politics or are just wanting to learn more about how your government works, this class is for you! Whether you're a long time resident or just moved here, if you wish to become a better advocate for positive change in the community this class is for you!

Over eight Thursdays in the Spring attendees will hear from City department directors to get the inside scoop on the work that they do. And there will be courses taught by the City Manager on how to hone your skills in communications and making a difference.

This year's Academy will be held in the evenings at the Fernley Branch Library.
