End of Watch: February 7, 2026 💔🕯️

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to K-9 Knight — a devoted white Bull Terrier Police K-9 whose courage, loyalty, and quiet strength spoke louder than words. Tonight feels different… quieter, heavier… as we honor a true hero who gave everything in service to others.

Knight collapsed due to complications from injuries sustained in the line of duty. Even in his final moments, his spirit never wavered. True to who he was, he stayed close to his handler — the partner he trusted with his life, just as he had through every long shift, every search, and every dangerous call.

Throughout his service, Knight proved that bravery isn’t measured by size, but by heart. As a Bull Terrier K-9, he brought relentless determination, sharp instincts, and an unbreakable bond to every mission. Where there was uncertainty, Knight brought reassurance. Where there was danger, he stood firm — calm, focused, and ready.

This loss goes far beyond a working dog. His handler has lost a partner, a protector, and a constant presence who never left his side — even when the weight of the job was heavy and the hours were long. Their bond was forged through trust, sacrifice, and shared danger — a connection that can never be replaced.
