How to Tell Truth From Fear
One of the easiest ways to disciple truth from fear is to notice the energy behind it.
Fear is urgent.
Fear feels fast, impulsive, pressured.
It makes you think you have to decide right now, say something right now, fix something right now.
Fear has a tightness to it — a knot in the stomach, a rush in the chest, a shaky feeling in your hands or voice.
Fear pushes.
Truth is calm.
Truth doesn’t rush you.
Truth sits with you quietly and gives you space.
Truth feels grounded, steady, and clear even if it’s difficult.
Truth feels like a deep breath.
Truth invites.
When you’re unsure which one is speaking, ask yourself:
“Does this feel like a push… or an inner knowing?”
“Does this feel urgent… or does it feel solid?”
Fear demands action.
Truth allows choice.
Fear shouts.
Truth whispers.
Fear reacts.
Truth responds.
The more you practice feeling the difference, the louder truth becomes — and the quieter fear gets.
