Joe Richards & Clark Johnson Given Paul Harris Award

Last week, the Fillmore Rotary Club was happy to present a Paul Harris Award to Joe Ricards, pictured above left with President Scott Beylik, who always steps up to do whatever is needed. He has built a BBQ for our Casino Night in the past and is working on another one for the future. Pictured above right also with President Beylik is Clark Johnson, a longtime member and someone who steps up and helps whenever needed. He also was awarded a Paul Harris Award. Five People Arrested During Driver’s License & DUI Checkpoint

On Friday, May 15, Fillmore Police Department held a Driver’s License & DUI Checkpoint on Central Avenue, north of Ventura Street from 6pm to 1am. A total of 293 vehicles passed through the checkpoint and 248 drivers were contacted. Above and below are some photos of the officers conducting sobriety tests on drivers.
