This will be our second time hosting Creative Connection: Art for Parkinson's, a free series that's open to individuals with Parkinson's Disease, their family, and friends.

Participants will discover the joy of creativity, connection, and healing through art. Offered through Awakening Minds Art with support from the Hancock County Parkinson's Network, these 1-hour sessions with painting and clay sculpture are designed to support motor function, emotional wellness, and meaningful connection.

Swimming is one of the most physically exerting activities you can do. And sometimes, especially when you’re having fun, time flies to the point where you don’t realize how tired you’re actually getting. When you’re swimming, be sure to take regular rest and refueling breaks so that you don’t cross your physical limit, which could end up jeopardizing your and others’ safety.
