What a fun day in May at Google in Thornton for Take Your Kid to Work Day!

From face painting and a magician to hands-on activities and our portrait station, there was no shortage of smiles, laughter, and excitement. It was so much fun watching the kids explore where their parents work and seeing the effort Google put into making the day special for them.

One of my favorite moments was when two sweet girls made me a name tag. It's those little things that stick with you long after the event is over.

Thank you to Google and everyone who stopped by our photo booth station. We loved being part of such a great day!

Last month we supported the Life Stories Child & Family Advocacy Red Carpet Rodeo fundraising gala, running the photo booth as guests came through.

The line moved fast. It had to.

Most people stepped in, smiled once, maybe twice, and moved on.

No time to overthink it.

No time to get it perfect.

People weren’t performing for the camera. They were just there, present for a second, before stepping back into a night that meant something bigger.

And every person who stepped in front of that camera was there because they care about something that matters far more than the photo.

On December 16th we’re celebrating the launch of Permission to Flourish – Finding Strength Within, and we'd would love to see you on Zoom.

Being part of this book pushed me to tell a story I’ve held close for a long time. Every woman in this project brought something real and honest to the table, and the finished book reflects that. These are the kinds of conversations we don’t always say out loud, but probably should.

During the launch, you’ll meet the co-authors, hear a little about what went into our chapters, and connect with people who care about growth, healing, and the strength we find when life forces us to dig deep.

Each speaker at the One Woman Fearless Summit brought her own story, strength, and perspective to the stage.

From deeply personal journeys to powerful calls for change, these women reminded us that courage takes many forms and that leadership often begins with vulnerability.

Their words lit up the room and left everyone inspired to take bold steps forward in their own lives.

This project has been a true labor of love for our team, a passion project years in the making.

In August, we traveled to Tanzania with Butterfly Pavilion and the Tanzanian Elephant Foundation to tell the story of how bee fencing is transforming lives, bringing hope to communities, empowering families through beekeeping, and protecting elephants from conflict.

For Sophia, this story is deeply personal. Her late mother loved elephants, and when she first heard about this project, it felt like a piece of her was alive again, guiding the journey.

Witnessing the connection between people, bees, and elephants reminded us why we tell stories that matter.
