Exciting News! I'm now offering Educational Therapy/Tutoring for Grades 2-8!
Educational Therapy/Tutoring is two-fold in purpose.
First, I will help the student to identify, understand, complete and submit assignments for school.
Second, I will evaluate the student and identify their best learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses and then maximize their learning potential by creating a personalized action plan to teach them the most effective ways to process information including:
o Executive functioning coaching, including but not limited to such skills as planning, organization, time management, perseverance, working memory, flexible thinking, maintaining attention, and motivation
o Memory and learning strategies
o Study skills and visualization training
o Mindfulness and emotional regulation
o Multi-sensory and remedial writing, math, spelling, and reading
o Empowering the child to feel joy in learning
