As a hairdresser I love when you guys bring me pictures. It really makes my job easier to see exactly what you want.

I hear people say things like, this world is going to hell, it’s not what it used to be. They feel they have no control over anything around them, but could you imagine waking up one morning and everyone decided for just one day to make 1 difference in someone’s life? To go out of their way talk to someone they normally wouldn’t gravitate towards? Or even as small as complimenting someone’s outfit, eyes, hair whatever. Even if it’s just a smile. What a difference that one day would make in the world.
This world is not going to hell, we haven’t lost our way. What we’ve lost is our ability to believe that you/we alone can make the biggest difference in this short time we’re here. We need to be accountable for that, don’t rely on leaders to make that difference. Rely on you/us. It’s that simple. And please, if you see someone who looks like maybe people don’t gravitate towards, give them a nod and a smile.
As I get older all I personally care about is leaving a happy footprint when I’m gone. No money on this planet could replace that.

What a week at the salon! I was scheduled to go away and decided against it. Thank god! Turns out Mother’s Day week is busier than Christmas week this year. I don’t remember it being like that? Grateful that my body can still kick some serious butt under pressure. But I think the girls and myself may need a spa day after this week.

It’s hard to be macho after being surrounded and influenced by women for over 40 years. They’ve kept me inline ❤️ some call me papa now, and I honestly don’t mind. I’ll gladly be their work papa.
I’ve been blessed in so many ways, but the biggest blessing is watching these young ladies and so many before them grow and become amazing in or out of the salon. And it all started with my first influence, my mother. With Mother’s Day approaching I hope you all realize the influence and impact you’ve made on all of us. I am one lucky man!
