⭐Student Spotlight ⭐
At GameU, we love celebrating the incredible things our students create—and Daniel's story is one you won't want to miss.
Daniel is the creator of the comic series Henry Hunter. Daniel is a person with paraplegia and he communicates by writing on his laptop with a forehead-operated sensor, but that hasn't stopped him from turning his creative vision into reality. Currently, Daniel has already released 2 issues of Henry Hunter & is working on issues #3 & #4.
But he's not stopping there.
Daniel is also developing a video game inspired by Henry Hunter, and the first trailer has already surpassed 20,000 views!
Check out the trailer and help us celebrate Daniel's amazing creativity and determination. 👏🎮

What an INCREDIBLE few days at the RTM Conference!
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with our GameU representatives, Gretchen Thompson and Campbell Reid. We had the opportunity to connect with educators from across the country, share ideas, and discuss how Hybrid+ can help strengthen their CTE programs.
🚀 The conversations were inspiring, and we're excited about the partnerships, opportunities, and impact that lie ahead.
We're leaving RTM excited for what's ahead and looking forward to building new relationships, supporting more schools, and continuing to shape the future of learning together. 🤝

Teachers do not need to be game developers to help students learn STEAM through game creation. 🎮
With the right game design curriculum, students can move from playing games to building them, while teachers guide the learning with structure, support, and confidence.
GameU’s Hybrid+ program helps schools bring game creation into STEAM, computer science, and career-connected learning through classroom-ready curriculum, virtual expert instruction, and teacher support.
In our latest blog, we share 7 powerful ways schools can help teachers lead game design curriculum with confidence.

❌ Myth: Gaming programs increase unproductive screen time.
✅ Reality: Creation-based gaming programs increase student engagement, creativity, and even attendance. 🎮 🚀
By incorporating something students are already passionate about — video games — learning becomes more exciting, relatable, and engaging. Instead of passively consuming content, students are actively designing, coding, creating, and problem-solving.
Programs like GameU help students build confidence, collaboration, and critical thinking skills while giving them a reason to genuinely look forward to learning. 💡
