Celebrate Safely, Flint! As we celebrate Independence Day, please remember to use fireworks responsibly and follow the City of Flint's fireworks ordinance.

Consumer fireworks are permitted:
🗓️ June 29 – July 4
⏰ 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.

Please remember:
✅Only use fireworks on property where you have permission.
✅Do not use fireworks on public streets, sidewalks, parks, schools or churches.
✅Fireworks are prohibited between midnight and 8:00 a.m.

Violations may result in a $500 fine and the seizure of fireworks. Let's work together to keep our neighborhoods safe while celebrating responsibly. Have a safe and happy Independence Day!

SCHOOL'S OUT — KNOW THE SUMMER CURFEW HOURS

To help keep Flint youth safe this summer, please be aware of the City of Flint's curfew ordinance:

🕙 Age 12 & Under: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
🕚 Ages 13–14: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM
🕛 Ages 15–16: 12:00 AM (Midnight) – 6:00 AM

During certain special events, a temporary curfew of 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM may be implemented for youth under 17 in designated event areas. Parents and guardians are encouraged to help ensure young people are home safely during curfew hours. Let's work together to keep our youth safe and make this a fun, safe summer for everyone.
