Those delish made from scratch desserts can be paired with Chicken n Dressing, Fried/Grilled Catfish or Tilapia, Shrimp n Grits, Dirty Rice, Sweet Taters, Creamed or Regular Collards, Ribs/Rib Tips, 5 Cheese Mac n Cheese, Red Beans n Rice, spaghetti and a host of other southern faves!
Oh, we will FINALLY have Turkey Ribs again next week! Found another supplier and the order arrives Monday! I couldn't find the Turkey Ribs anywhere for weeks.
If you want a sandwich, try our 1/3 pound Pulled Pork sandwich with or without the sauce and with cole slaw on the side! Either way is a win/win! Have the sauce, or liquid gold, on the side! You'll want to drink the sauce with a straw!

Hey all, just a heads up regarding 51 To Go. The hours of operation has changed for the fall and winter seasons starting this week.
51 To Go will now ONLY open Wednesday 12-8, Thursday 12-8, Friday and Saturday 12-9 and Sunday 12-6. The decision is based on sales and Tuesdays have historically been slower and non-producing days.
We are also adding some new items to the menu. We'll now have a taco day (beef, turkey and vegan), wing day, burger day, fish day and vegan day and a po boy day as specials. They are awesome! There has also been discussion on having gator and frog legs put on the menu. How do y'all feel about those items?

Hey all, I think that I am going to introduce a vegan dish. I've been getting request to do vegan and technically, it's not southern. However, I never seem to follow rules anyway so here you go!
This is Vegan Spaghetti with a Sundried Tomato sauce, paired with our delicious Sweet Potatoes and Cole Slaw. We'll have a few hot vegan sides as well as Cucumber Salad with Herb di Provence. I'll have it on the menu Sunday just to get feedback and then find a place on the menu. Not sure if it will be daily, but we'll see.
This dish is delish! The Pineapple Pudding was a hit and as suspected, it didn't last long. It will be on the menu Sunday as well (UNTIL WE RUN OUT OF IT! lol).

Hey folks, 51 TO GO WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW AND WEDNESDAY! We will open Tuesday, December 30th from 11-9 pm and Wednesday, December 31st from 11 until 6 pm. We will be closed Thursday, January 1st and Friday January 2nd. We will reopen Saturday January 3rd with regular hours.
Come on down and sit a spell, eat well, laugh a little or lot, but dine sufficiently! Also, if you spend $40, you can pull a number to win a prize. One ticket per receipt. The prize can be a pen, art print, apron, book, jewelry...who knows! It's all in the luck of the draw!
