I have worked in a Home Health medical office for 18 years and became a remote employee in 2012 after an accident left me partially handicapped. I decided my small inconvenience would not stop me from doing the work I love! In this day of COVID-19, experienced remote workers can help businesses continue to operate and prosper.
For the past nine years I have successfully worked remotely with several Home Health agencies as a Medicare/commercial biller/collections, coder and Oasis coordinator including review, training and correction. I look forward to discussing work possibilities with your company. I have dedicated myself to become the best employee I can be despite my physical limitations! Also, I have a quiet little home office to help me concentrate on the tasks at hand!
I established an email blog last March to help my home health friends and myself understand the changes brought about by CMS -PDGM final rule and Oasis D-1. Even though I have coded for many years, I am studying PDGM regulations/coding in depth and plan to get my HCS-D coding certification this summer.
