Today, we honor a story of resilience, faith, and victory.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is precious, hard-fought, and worth preserving. It commemorates the day when enslaved African Americans in Texas finally received the news that they were free—proof that even when justice is delayed, God's truth cannot be denied.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we recognize that freedom is more than a historical milestone. True freedom begins in the heart. Christ came to break every chain, destroy every yoke, heal every wound, and reconcile people back to God and one another.

At Promised Seed Church, we celebrate Juneteenth not only as a reflection on where we've been, but as a declaration of where we're going. We believe God is still calling His people to build communities marked by faith, justice, reconciliation, healing, and hope. We believe every person bears the image of God and deserves to live with dignity, purpose, and opportunity.

Today we remember the sacrifice.�We celebrate the progress.�We acknowledge the work that remains.�And we look forward with faith.

Because wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
