Throughout Disability Pride Month, we've been celebrating what those words look like in action—and our Supported Employment clients demonstrate it every day.

Across our community, individuals supported by Proudworks are showing up, learning new skills, earning a paycheck, building independence, and contributing their talents to local workplaces.

Supported Employment isn't simply about helping someone find a job. It's about recognizing potential, creating opportunity, and providing the individualized support that helps people succeed long-term.

We're proud of every client who has taken that step—and grateful to the employers who see ability, value inclusion, and give our clients the opportunity to show what they can do.

Because when everyone has the opportunity to contribute, the world really does work better with us.

This Disability Pride Month, we're shining a light on our Aging Gracefully group, where participants come together to learn, share experiences, support one another, and embrace each stage of life.

Our Aging Gracefully participants show us that pride isn't defined by age—it's found in resilience, friendship, lifelong learning, and living each day to the fullest.

Our Christmas in July at the Florence Y'alls event is moving forward as planned, and we can't wait to spend the evening with our amazing supporters, community partners, and friends.

As with any outdoor event, Mother Nature always has a vote! If weather conditions change, the Florence Y'alls will provide updates through their official social media channels, so we encourage everyone to check there before heading to the ballpark.

Recently, a group of ladies from our Life Transitions program enjoyed a trip to Starbucks on Mall Road, where they spent time catching up, sharing stories, and simply enjoying each other's company.

Today we're looking back to a special moment from this past spring, when Proudworks was honored to receive a $1,500 grant through Magnified Giving, thanks to the thoughtful nomination and support of students from Grant County High School - KY.
