💙🐾 MEET THE BOARD for the 26-27 School Year 🐾💙

This week we’re excited to introduce our Lester APT Vice President, Beka Andrews!

Beka has a special connection to Lester—her mother proudly taught here for more than 30 years, making this school a place that’s always felt like home.

She is the proud mom of three boys, with her oldest currently in 5th grade at Lester and her middle child entering 3rd grade. Beka has dedicated over 10 years to teaching in Florence One and is beginning her third year at McLaurin Elementary.

Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, cheering on her boys at ballgames, and making memories with her family.

Beka also brings previous APT leadership experience as McLaurin’s and Lester’s Event Organizer. Her perspective as both an educator and a parent makes her a wonderful asset to our team, and she’s excited to help make this school year one to remember for our Scottie families.

LES is excited to announce Mr. Cody Manning will join our staff as a 5th grade ELA teacher for the upcoming 26-27 school year! Welcome Mr. Manning, we are looking forward to your contributions as we grow into greatness!

📚✏️ Plan Ahead! LES Title I Parent Orientation Night ✏️📚

Join us on Monday, July 27th for our Title I Parent Orientation Night, where you'll have the opportunity to:

⭐ Meet your child’s teacher
⭐ Learn important information about the upcoming school year
⭐ Discover how Title I supports student success
⭐ Connect with school staff and other families
⭐ Get answers to your questions before the first day of school

To help accommodate families, we are offering two identical sessions:

🕔 Session 1: 5:00–5:45 PM
🕕 Session 2: 5:45–6:30 PM

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents and students are welcome to attend!

We look forward to seeing our LES families and kicking off another amazing year together. See you there! 💙🐾

What an incredible year for the Lester APT! 💙🐾

From supporting our teachers and staff, to funding classroom needs, hosting fun family events, celebrating students, and creating special memories throughout the year — we are so proud of all that was accomplished together during the 2025-2026 school year!

None of this would be possible without the support of our amazing parents, volunteers, teachers, staff, sponsors, and community. Every fundraiser, every volunteer hour, and every donation helped make a difference for our Scotties. 🐶✨
