Ancient Roots

Down home. Olar, SC. I took a little time away to go back there and it holds all those memories. I miss it so much. It's funny how you run away as fast as you can because city lights make your eyes dazzle, but you forget that the starlight in that big country sky is a 1000 times more potent. It's also really sad to see my little hometown disappearing before my eyes...a little more each year. It's true when they say you can never go home again. Moma isn't there.
