Our Story
The AnA (Arts 'n' Artists) Project, is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 2013. The organization, located just outside the city limits of Philadelphia, aims to promote the arts by connecting local artists and performers with opportunities to bring their talent and creativity to people of all ages and walks of life. The AnA Project is designed to fully integrate all types of art; literary, performing and visual arts which includes but is not limited to crafts, music, dance, poetry, and theater. Our workshops and performances are held in local venues such as nursing homes, libraries, schools, camps, women's shelters, community centers, and after-school programs. We believe that the arts are an essential part of daily life, enriching and nourishing the body, mind and soul!
Since spring of 2018 we have had the pleasure of sharing drawing from both music and dance with youths at Interfaith of Ambler Housing Alliance, Blue Bell and Ambler branches of the Wissahickon Valley Public Libraries, and Bethlehem Village Senior Living Community. We have shared the art of ballooning and temporary tattoos with the youths and families of Interfaith of Ambler Housing Alliance. We are working on expanding our outreach by adding new disciplines to share and people to touch through the arts while spreading joy!
