Shop Local Week is here! 🛍✨ Starting today, Nov. 1, dozens of local businesses are offering special deals to encourage you to shop, dine, and play right here in Flower Mound. This initiative, in partnership with the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, is aimed at encouraging residents to spend their dollars locally this holiday season and beyond.

Shop Local Week 2023 ends on Tuesday, Nov. 7, but you’re encouraged to continue shopping local all year long. When you shop, dine, and play, in town, it ensures sales tax dollars stay here in our community, which directly benefits our streets, parks, police and fire protection services, and much more. Still have some back-to-school shopping to knock out? 🎒💵 Get it done this weekend during the 2023 Sales Tax Holiday! In anticipation of the new school year, the Texas State Comptroller scheduled the holiday for Friday, Aug. 11 through Sunday, Aug. 13. During that time, purchases of qualifying items under $100, including most clothing, footwear, school supplies, and backpacks, will be tax free.
