Minnesota was well represented at National Amatuer in Maine with 9 handlers and 10 dogs entered! 2 not pictured and 2 qualified but not entered.

Thanks to all the participants, judges and workers who made our spring trial successful! Great to see all the excellent dog work and see a few qualify for National! Hope to see everyone in the fall as well!! If you like the grounds and would like to become a member please reach out! Great couple of people here, gone WAY too soon!

It is with a heavy heart to share that Karen Blackbird passed away Sunday, February 12. Karen and John were significant contributors to CMRC and the greater retriever community on a national scale. Karen trained, handled and judged retrievers in the hunt test activity and was a steadfast companion to John and a friend to all.

Mass at 11 am at St Patrick’s in Inver Grove Heights. Viewing an hour before from 10 to 11. This
Burial at St Patrick cemetery following mass
Reception luncheon at Axel's in Mendota Heights 1 to 3 pm
