Finished repainting the Chevrolet dealership in Pensacola this week. Overnight work 7pm to 5am is a whole other type of thing. No traffic and cooler temps tho.

Here's my Saturday morning tip for all u new painters {guys who haven't run a business for a decade +) - when taping a dark or light (but esp dark surface, and ur not sure what type of paint or material it is, NEVER PUT YOUR TAPE ON THE VISIBLE AREA!!!! UNLESS THERE IS NO CHOICE AND THERE ALWAYS IS, NEVER TAPE THE CABINET FACES, FAN BLADES, VANITYS ETC.. THE TAPE WILL PULL THE FINISH ABOUT 60 TO 80 % OF THE TIME. ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF THE CHEAPER MATERIALS BUILDERS USE NOW. TAPE IS VANEERS WORST ENEMY!!!
