It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray Jensen. Ray passed away late Tuesday afternoon after many years of chronic back pain, complications and surgeries. Viewing will be Monday, April 2nd, at noon immediately followed by the service at 2 pm at Serenity Funeral Home in Mobile, AL (8691 Old Pascagoula Road).

Ray retired from the Coast Guard after serving 27 years in the military. He then worked for 16 years at Azalea City Golf Course, 13 years as the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. Ray was an active member of both the Alabama Turfgrass Association and the Gulf Coast GCSA Chapter. Ray was honored with the ATA Old Timer's Award in 2003 upon his retirement from Azalea City Golf Course.

Ray is survived by his wife, Laura, three children, seven grandchildren, a brother and a sister. Please keep the entire family in your thoughts and prayers.
