In the days of Camelot, the Page served his Knight, and learned the craft and ways of Knighthood in return. Learning how to care for his weapons, his steed, and armor, how to address others, how to survive in battle. The Knight took this charge most serious as he knew that one day the Kingdom and its King would need new guards to replace his spot at the castles gate.
Modern times are no different. Fathers teach their young how to be a man…many lessons including how to present themselves to others, the honor of working hard and providing, how to treat a lady, how to be charitable, how to honor the King.
Not everyone is fortunate to have a Knight to teach them the craft… some young are left to their own devises and direction. Not every Knight is sent into battle prepared and taught the lessons in survival and dignity.
I am one of the fortunate few. I was taught the craft of life by a real Knight and his bride. Taught to kneel before the King, taught to shine and hone the swords, taught to prepare for all battles in life. Some lessons taught in words, many lessons taught by example.
As a child I recall seeing this sword under my daddys bed… pulling it out in curiosity and reading the words etched on the blade….. “Knights of Columbus”. I was fascinated and believed my daddy was a real Knight. I later learned that yes, indeed he is.
Today, The Knight, my teacher, celebrates his EIGHTY-NINTH Birthday…..please join me in celebration wishing Sir Charles Daniels a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
I love you Daddy!!!

I met Ricky “Doc” about 35 years ago…we both were just newbies in the music business. We never shared the same stage but I saw him perform last year and was proud of his progression and success. His bride has asked for prayers which I will surely oblige, and ask the same from you.

Coming soon to a trailer park near you!!
Well Preshiss and I are doing some retirement prepping. We’ve purchased a mo- beel trailer to drag across the Nations States and will begin some exploratory treks in trailer parks, err rv parks…whatever…anyways. We’ve enjoyed living the bi-annual vacation life staying in from remote cabins to luxury high rise hotels and have opted for… trailer park life. I mean where else can you meet genuine Americans like Dieman Dave the Hillbilly Ninja and learn how to transform a scoal can into a ninja throwing star?! We’ve a few years before fer-real fer-real retirement but we are getting cranked up. Ive enjoyed over 35 years entertaining in dance halls, dive bars, juke joints, convention centers, luxury hotels etc from huge stages to small corners and am grabbing the ol martin acoustic out for some unplugged trailer park action. On tour baby. With my lil hot tamale. My petit gateau chaud. I look forward to entertaining her as she looks at me with that loving look she gets that I havent figured out yet if thats maybe her “what the # # # # is wrong with you” look?! I aint saying I wont have any more local gigs, Im saying Im about tired of lugging around music gear and totally uninterested in looking for a gig. Ive had a fantastic 35 year run and TRULY TRULY appreciate the love and support for my passion in pickin guitar and entertaining.
Live baby. At a trailer park, rv park, whatever, near you !!!
