In 2021, When I decided to move from 911 to Records Officer I knew I had to go work at the jail.

To be honest I was a little scared and didn’t know what to expect.

When I finalized training I was assigned to 3W IOP floor and was partnered with 3 deputies and a great Sgt. And Adams our honorary IOP deputy because he worked OT on our shift.

For 16 months these young men became like sons to me. I watched over them while in the pods and they treated me with love and respect.

Now 3 years later we have all moved from the jail out to CID, North, Central and RCPD.

One is now married with 2 babies. One got married in 2022 now expecting a baby and This weekend I had the privilege of attending the last wedding.

I look forward to seeing them grow with their family and their career’s.
