DJ Martin Contreras started DJing at a young age with his step-father in Mexico in 2001. In 2004, upon coming to the US, he began DJing again in 2009, starting with weddings, events, and promotions, until becoming a DJ in a nightclub in San Francisco, from 2013-2015.
In 2016, Martin moved to Sacramento and had his 3rd child, a daughter. He focused on being a father and working full time until 2020, when he was able to once again resume his passion as a DJ. Then, COVID-19 hit. Gigs were cancelled but Martin continued practicing and performing for his family until he was able to line up multiple events for the end of 2021, and 2022. Martin is a regular DJ at Powerhouse in Folsom, as well as other venues. He most recently played at multiple Folsom and El Dorado Hills venues and events, and is noticed as the "official DJ of Folsom Chamber of Commerce" for 2022. His musical range is from decades 1960-top40's, including Latin, Hip-Hop, County, Reggae, EDM, and more. Any occasion is perfect for him! In his off time, Martin works as a mixoligist in Folsom, coaches his kids' baseball and sports teams, attends school, and is a loving and devoted husband, Dad, and role model for his family.
