Position Description and Qualifications:

• Verification of purchase order requested to ship. Verification total load is within weight requirements/guidelines Resolve any discrepancies prior to the driver leaving the yard. Confirm we are not over or under shipping customer orders.

• All required tracking information is entered on all bills of lading
• Watch for special instructions for outer territory (OT) shipments.

• Promptly print purchase orders and respond to emails ensuring all purchase orders are accounted for and emails are responses to in a timely manner.
• Enter orders accurately within four hours after the arrival of each order, whether received via online, email, fax or phone.
• Provide order confirmation within four hours to each roofer or distributor as required.
• Constantly monitor/update customer’s orders to ensure that all information on their order is complete and accurate as to product load (field and trim) and the date(s) requested.
• Prioritize and process shortage orders and revisions to orders
• Maintain past due open orders

Salary: $4.00 /hour

Role and Responsibilities:
• Receiving production parts, miscellaneous items and completed production work orders.
• Visual receiving inspection.
• Shipping rejected parts to suppliers, intracompany shipments, parts for service, mail, etc.
• Delivery of parts for production work orders to the working stations.
• Record all transactions on ERP system and manually as required.
• Maintain minimum/maximum levels of inventory items.
• Material handling, identification, order and housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Drive forklift safely.
• Cycle counting.
• Support staff as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Forklift certification.
• Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Team oriented, flexible, multitasking and focused on maintaining a high level of service.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as Inventory Control Specialist or similar in a Manufacturing environment (Automotive Industry preferred).
• Experience in use of ERP system; Sage 100 or similar (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• MS Excel and MS Word
• Familiar with automotive mechanical/electric parts.
• Skills in reading mechanical and electric drawings/schematics.
