🎓
EduMaKate’s mission is to empower underprivileged but gifted high school students to get a college degree and realize their career dreams. The EduMaKate 2021-2022 School Chapter program is a 8-week College and Career Readiness program that focuses on preparing students for the path to college and future career goals. On a weekly basis, deliver a workshop at each school to the participants of the program (approximately 30-35 students). You, as the Program Liaison, will serve as the primary point of contact for majority of the communications with your assigned Chapter School. You will attend every workshop with the individual who will be presenting that week’s workshop. As the Program Liaison will report to and work closely with the EduMaKate Program Coordinator during the school year to provide program updates, student feedback and ensure all workshops are ready to be presented ahead of time.
Key Responsibilities

*Foster a relationship with your respective program participants.
*Data management, including attendance, tracking student information, verify receipt of documents, pre- and post-test results, etc., via Google Drive.
*Recruit potential students.
*Coordinate guest speakers, off-site trips, transportation.
*Prepare workshop materials weekly including copies and any technology needs for session.
Any workshop materials that have to be distributed to the students must be printed ahead of time (not at the school) – work with Program Coordinator to obtain printed materials in a timely fashion.
*Collaborating with our Faculty Advisor to ensure that all necessary school resources (e.g. computers, classrooms, schedules, etc…) are available, and to incorporate educator feedback to improve overall quality.
*Compile brief reports with pictures to update staff weekly on progress.
