Next Senior Spotlight- Court Willeford!

WE’RE BACK 😤💪🏻🥁

That’s a wrap on our 2026 Indoor Drumline season! 🎉 Congratulations to both the Forney ISD Middle School Indoor Drumline and the Forney HS Indoor Drumline on spectacular final performances of “All That Jazz!” and “Neon Noir” at the NTCA Percussion Championships, hosted at the OC. The MS capped off their season with a score of 92.9, earning their 4th consecutive Cadet Class Championship, and the HS finished with a score of 88.325, claiming the bronze medal in an extremely competitive Scholastic Open Class. Congratulations also to Mr. Warren, who was honored as the NTCA Percussion Director of the Year!

Thank you to the many parent and student volunteers from both the Forney and North Forney HS Band programs (and their feeders) who helped make this event possible, and thank you to the 33 percussion units for joining us for our 2nd year hosting this event at The OC. We hope to continue to host for many years to come!

To all of our parents, administrators, boosters, and supporters, thank you for all that you do to help bring these indoor programs to life year after year. Our students are so fortunate to be able to experience the magic of music through this activity. As we set our sights on the end of the school year and the upcoming marching season, we look forward to the new challenges and adventures that next year’s indoor season will bring!

We had a BLAST with working with the incredible percussion educator and battery guru Dray Edwards today. Dray has worked with world class WGI and DCI groups such as Monarch Independent and Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps as well as many notable Houston area percussion programs. He was able to take our indoor show “Neon Noir” to a whole new level in a matter of hours. THANK YOU DRAY!!! 🙏🏻 🥁 🔥
