What an incredible day for the Forney Food Pantry and the families we serve!

We are beyond grateful to BJ's Wholesale Club for blessing our pantry with a generous $25,000 grant. As Forney celebrates the opening of the very first BJ’s club in Texas on April 24, they are already making a meaningful difference in our community.

This gift is so much more than a donation. It represents meals on the table, help for struggling families, support for children, and hope for neighbors who need it most. Because of this generosity, we will be able to continue providing food and assistance to so many in our community.

Board members Natalie, Sondra, Richard, Connie, and Tammy were honored to be there to receive this incredible gift and celebrate the beginning of what we know will be a wonderful partnership.

📢 The City of Forney is now accepting applications for the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee (CIAC).

At least 50% of committee members must represent the real estate, development, or building industries and may not be employees or officials of a governmental entity.

The CIAC advises the City Council on land use assumptions, the capital improvements plan, and impact fees. Serving on a City board is a great way to get involved and help shape your community's future.

♻️ Exciting news! Weekly recycling service begins March 4th.

Under the City’s new contract with Community Waste Disposal, residential recycling pickup will increase from every other week to weekly service for residential customers within Forney city limits.
