Ninjas will use MCreator and Blockbench to design custom worlds, weapons and armors. They’ll learn real coding logic to turn their modding visions into reality.

Meet Code Sensei Amazing G.! 👋

Big congratulations are in order! Amazing just graduated from North Forney High School as the salutatorian! 🏆 Not only that, but he was a dual-credit rockstar, earning his Associate of Science degree from Dallas College before even picking up his high school diploma. During his time at North Forney, Amazing loved exploring all his options, bouncing between the engineering, graphic design, and programming career pathways.

Next stop? The University of Texas at Austin to major in Computer Science! He’s also looking to blend his love for tech with an interest in law. "There are a lot of things I enjoy. But I'll definitely be in the computer science-law area. So maybe I'll pursue the intellectual property industry." ⚖️💻

Amazing has been with Code Ninjas Forney for nearly six months, though he’s been a veteran student worker for Forney ISD. With his CS background and a passion for gaming, joining the dojo was an absolute no-brainer. "I love playing video games with my friends and I took a class about game programming and designing in high school. It was very interesting." 🎮

Teaching actually runs in the family for Amazing. His mom was a teacher, and growing up watching her inspire students influenced how he connects with our Ninjas today. "Seeing her foster that student-teacher relationship inspired me to do the same things here. As a Sensei, I enjoy developing lesson plans, breaking down technical vocabulary into easy-to-understand language, and explaining coding concepts in a way that helps students fully grasp the material. I like to make things click for them."

Outside of the dojo, Amazing stays creative through graphic design, and enjoys gaming and hanging out with his friends and family. He also appreciates nature and loves taking care of his plants. 🌿
