This is the BEST cornbread recipe! I received it years ago from a fellow missionary when we lived in Hungary. Beware! It's sweet like cake and highly addictive! Jill's Fudge

PS: The trick is to take it out a touch underdone. Everyone in my house knows momma gets the very center piece that's the softest.

PPS: Hungarians don't eat cornbread - that's why I learned to make it. Most of my cooking skills were developed in our early marriage because I craved American food, although there's plenty of VERY tasty Hungarian dishes!
