Shine Basketball

It is with a heavy heart I share the passing of my loving and endearing husband. Rob lost his battle to colon cancer but gained his wings to Paradise. Rob and I enjoyed a full 25 years of Love, Laughter, Friendship and Hard Work together. Rob was an Amazing father and was kind to anyone who crossed his path. Rob was successful at everything he put his mind to. He strived his Shine Basketball Academy and business endeavors around his three C’s philosophy: Culture, Connection, Coaching. Rob fought a good fight throughput his time on earth and I can proudly say he Finished Strong! Well done good and faithful servant. I look forward to our Son’s Marc and Mitchell along with the over 7,000 kids that came through the Shine Basketball Academy over the past 25 years to carry on Rob’s legacy. Some days it’s hard to be a human on earth. But won’t worry, this is temporary. And while we would love for there to be peace and happiness every day, we were never promised a life without suffering. We can, however, look forward to a peace that passes all understanding when our time comes. Meanwhile, we are called to love each other, forgive, and do the best we can to add value every day. 🙏
