Happy heavenly birthday to our fallen, but never forgotten Chief 🪓🖤 you were the epitome of what I would consider a the perfect Chief teammate to be. You were selfless when it came to what was best for the team, you kept the vibes and moral up, you weren’t afraid at any moment to get down and scrap with anyone at any time for the tribe and you always represented 🍁. We couldn’t have asked for a better brother to share the battlefield with - we know that you’re there with us, just now as our 11th man. Always wishing we could crack another cold one 🍺 with you and hit a CHIIIIEEEFSSS as loud as we possibly can. Miss you forever

Maple Leaf Chiefs win the 2024 NXL Paintball - Major League Paintball 10v10 Series Title!!! 🏆 🍁 🪓

After falling short by just 3 points in the 2023 season with a devastating, yet motivating second place 🥈 overall standing, the Chiefs set out this year to do whatever it took to get redemption and get on top. We entered into the Paintball World Cup Championships TIED for 1st place in a bit of a fun 10v10 "rivalry" with the legendary franchise, Chicago Aftershock - the same group that we fell short to in 2023. It essentially came down to whoever did better at World Cup would take the title this year, so the pressure was on. Our ideal scenario was facing them head-to-head in the finals to determine who would ultimately come home with the 🏆. Unfortunately, the cards weren't dealt that way and they got eliminated in the ocho-finals before we had a chance to do battle.

The Chiefs advanced into the playoffs after going 6-2 in the Prelims, defeating the Gulf Coast Gorillas, BR Factory and Tiki's Paintball to make it into the World Cup Finals to face-off in nearly complete darkness against the Seattle Crusaders. In the nail-biter of a match, a final move was made to help essentially solidify the win..which would then lead to a penalty on who we (and quite literally everyone else watching) thought was the other team, turned out for some reason was called on us. The penalty resulted in pulling all of our remaining bodies and the game was over. We should've had it, it should've been ours, but that's just not what went down at the end of the day and we must move forward and accept the call on the field even if we do not agree with it. We still want to say thank you to all of the teams we faced off against for great battles throughout this event and year alike, along with the refs for working tiresome long days in the sun to ensure things ran as smoothly as they could for everyone involved. It's truly an honor to compete against so many great players and organizations. You can bet that we'll be back and ready for more action in 2025! CHIIIIEEEEFFFFSSS!!
